Glasgow Community and Safety Services – Services

Parkhead Ripple Effect Community Event

In recent years community researchers have worked with a range of partner agencies to assess the impact of alcohol in glasgow’s communities. Published as the Ripple Effect, this was commissioned by the Communities Sub Group of the Glasgow Drugs and Alcohol Partnership.

The research includes a focus on the Parkhead area.

To take forward the findings of the ripple effect, a community consultation event will take place at Parkhead Congregational Church, 77 Westmuir Street, on Thursday 25th November from 10.00am – 12.30pm. Lunch will be provided.

If you have an interest in how alcohol effects the Parkhead area please come along to the event. There is no charge to attend and refreshments will be available.
