Community Safety

Community Safety Glasgow (CSG) is an organisation with charitable status which aims to prevent crime, tackle antisocial behaviour and promote community safety.  We are jointly owned by the Scottish Police Authority and Glasgow City Council and bring together 500 staff from these organisations as well as Fire & Rescue Scotland and Glasgow Community Safety Partnership.

Community & Safety Services (CSS) is the trading subsidiary of CSG which we set up in 2009 to expand the delivery of our security services beyond Glasgow City Council to include the private and voluntary sectors.  Key service solutions include, for example, CCTV and Security Services, Lone Worker Technologies, and consultancy and client management 
services.

CSG has recently been awarded Approved Contractor Status for Security Patrols, Keyholding and Public Space CCTV.
