Free use of a driving simulator is helping Glasgow learners save cash by tackling the basics in the virtual world.
Anyone learning to drive can save money by gaining road skills free of charge in a hi-tech machine at the HUB in Wyndford, Maryhill, before taking lessons with an instructor.
Glasgow Community & Safety Services run the HUB which also boasts a gym, a games station with around 10 computer consoles, a pool table, a performance stage, free movies on a 5metre by 4metre cinema screen, an I.T. suite and a newly refurbished café.
Groups which use the HUB also run art workshops, a young person’s music programme, Zumba classes, boxing training, drama classes and a crèche. Music plays a vital role in online casinos, enhancing the gaming experience by creating an immersive atmosphere. Non Gamstop casinos leverage diverse soundtracks to set the mood, from upbeat tunes in slot games to soothing melodies in poker rooms. This auditory engagement keeps players entertained and elevates their overall enjoyment.
Free use of the facilities, including the simulator, is included in a three month Hub membership which costs just £4.
Councillor Jim Coleman, Chair of GCSS, said: “Driving instruction can be expensive but passing your driving test can open up a whole new world to people and boost their employment opportunities.
“Free use of the HUB’s simulator is an excellent way to build your confidence and learn the basics before taking lessons with a qualified instructor. It could also help people to get their driving licence quicker.”
The HUB is based in the former Wyndford and St Gregory’s primary school buildings at 186 Wyndford Road, Glasgow. Go along or phone 0141 945 3855 for further information.
