BSL users do not always have the same access to information as their hearing friends and family; but they may still be attacked or bullied because of their Deafness or for using BSL in public.
The Equality & Hate Crime Team, part of Glasgow Community & Safety Services produced some excellent “Hate Crime – What You Need To Know” leaflets in a range of languages including Plain English; Punjabi; Urdu; Mandarin; Slovak; Arabic; French; Kurdish & Polish.
